We’re a small, fast-paced design studio based just outside Athlone, in Co. Westmeath, creating immersive brand and retail environments that blend strategy, storytelling, and sustainability. Our work spans retail, hospitality, and workplace design—always with people and experience at the centre.
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our growing team—someone who’s excited by branding, environmental design, and visual storytelling, and wants to get stuck into a variety of creative projects with plenty of room to grow.
About the Role
As a Graphic Designer, you’ll work across branding, signage, wayfinding, packaging, and marketing, bringing clarity and creativity to every touchpoint. You’ll collaborate with interior designers and suppliers, and help bring Rigney Forge’s ideas to life with strong, well-crafted visual communication.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing new brands for our clients, ranging from food retail to opticians and garden centres.
- Creating graphic elements for signage, wayfinding, packaging, and spatial branding, focusing on how branding can enhance the customer experience.
- Creating visuals and documents for presentations, pitches, and concept packs
- Supporting the studio’s brand work with promotional and digital assets
- Collaborating with the interiors team to maintain brand consistency in 3D environments
- Working efficiently across multiple projects in a fast-moving studio
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in a studio or branding/retail environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Bonus points for experience with photography, motion graphics, or video editing
- Strong eye for typography, layout, and visual storytelling
- Someone organised, adaptable, and excited to learn.
- Confident communicator and team player
